Our product content guidelines help to understand and implement a consistent user experience throughout all channels and applications with which we communicate with our clients and users.

Tailor content to audience

Keep in mind that our applications are meant to serve people. In order to ensure them of a pleasant experience, do some research to get a full understanding of their needs. For instance, some people might not speak the given languages.

Encourage action

We want to encourage our users to get stuff done. In order to do so our content should be encouraging. Users should have a clear understanding of what they need to do and feel confident to do so.

Consistent terminology

Terminology should be consistent throughout all Leviy applications. Make sure to use the same verbs and nouns where possible to ensure a short learning curve and a consistent user experience.

Use visual cues paired with the correct terminology to help users interpret the content.

  • Do: Click on the apps icon apps at the top right of the toolbar and then select Files.
  • Don’t: Click on the square icon at the top right of the toolbar and then select Files.

Encourage action

Use simple phrases to communicate in an effective and straightforward way. Readable is a useful app to check the readability of content.

  • Keep sentences short.
  • Research to find out what terminology is used. If possible try to avoid using too many technical phrases or jargon.
  • Take the lengthiness of different languages into consideration and try to write for smaller screens first.
  • Avoid abbreviations such as i.e.

  • Eliminate synonyms.
  • Check if the words you use match the thinking of the reader.
