Tone of Voice

Our tone of voice guidelines help to communicate consistently and in accordance with our brand identity, so our clients and users experience the desired vibe we want to accomplish throughout all channels and applications. We should always sound like Leviy.

Guidelines

Informal

Speak with an informal but professional tone as we are a young and driven team who believe in making a difference together. Informality helps us to close the gap between tech and humans.

Active voice

At all times our tone should make us feel approachable. To ensure this we always use an active voice and if applicable we use “we” instead of talking about Leviy in third-person.

Avoid gender

Avoid gender pronouns such as, he/she or his/her. If this is not possible use they or their. Speaking in second person is best. It fits in with our informal tone as it refers to the client or user.

Do's and don'ts

Informal

Use je/jouw in Dutch instead of u/uw.
